Revlon's new Live Boldly campaign will launch later in the month. The model/actress/former Israeli soldier/megababe shot to fame, thanks to her starring role as the legendary DC superhero Wonder Woman. "People always ask me, 'Are you a feminist?'" she told Rolling Stone.
The Revlon partnership marks the first major beauty gig for Gal, who appeared in a Gucci fragrance campaign in the past.
We couldn't imagine anyone more fitting to be the face of Revlon's Live Boldly campaign - a campaign created to bring women together and celebrate diverse beauty. The Wonder Woman actress has revealed she's now a Global Brand Ambassador for Revlon, the brand behind her lipstick of choice on Sunday night.
Still, she keeps it relatively simple, citing Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Certainly Red ($6), Mega Multiplier Mascara ($6), and ColorStay Foundation ($8) in particular as faves, but otherwise paring down her look to "light foundation, bronzer, blush, and mascara. But I'm a working mother, so I do like to cover darkness around my eyes, etc., etc., and when I go out, to wear bold lips and mascara". She's a strong advocate for women, recognized for using her voice and platform to encourage the entertainment industry to strive for fairness.
Gal Gadot is Revlon's new star!
The full Live Boldly campaign is due to be released at the end of January.
"We are definitely shifting the way we communicate as part of our Live Boldly campaign and having a broader representation of women because we are a brand that represents women all around the world", Talley said.
Gadot walked the talk when she reportedly refused to return for the Wonder Woman sequel unless one of the filmmakers, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women, was fired.
