LG starts rolling out Oreo to the V30 in Korea

OnePlus teases the first Android Oreo open beta for the One Plus 5T

LG V30 started getting Android 8.0 Oreo updates

The users of the LG V30 smartphones can also get the Android Oreo 8.0 update by connecting their computer systems via the LG Bridge programme. It is the first open beta built for the OnePlus 5T.

LG has launched a public beta test for Android 8.0 on their V30 a month ago and it is now live in South Korea.

According to the source, the Oreo beta update brought improvements to the device's camera performance, alongside all the regular Oreo features. OnePlus Germany revealed that Android Oreo Beta is about to come to OnePLus 5T. The company confirmed that the OxygenOS 5.0, which is based on Android Oreo, is reaching OnePlus 5 users.

Since the Tweet was shared by Germany's handle, people around the world are confused whether the new update will be available for their regions as well or just limited to Germany.

With a little time left before the year is over, OnePlus' engineers and team appear to still be hard at work trying to make Oreo for the OnePlus 5T happen and it looks like they succeeded. The phone is designed with durable body with an elegant design together. Additionally, you will get the Oreo goodies like picture-in-picture support, notification dots, faster boot, autofill for passwords, smart text selection, and new quick settings design. However, the device also received one interesting feature that many weren't expecting for sure.

If you cannot wait for the stable build of Oreo to roll out to your 5T, you can flash this Open Beta 1 build to your smartphone right away.

The OnePlus 5T also sports smaller bezels courtesy of its relocated fingerprint sensor.
