The phone is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat for now and it is upgradeable to Android 8.0 Oreo, with the stock Android OS. The handset is now official and we have all the details on this second generation Android smartphone from Nokia.

In addition, the Nokia 6 (2018) packs a 3000mAh battery that backings quick charging innovation. Although Nokia came back past year, it was only for China, as it launched the Nokia 6 in our neighbouring country.

Though design language largely remains the same as Nokia 6, HMD Global has brought in a few aesthetic changes to Nokia 6 (2018). The body of Nokia 6 (2018) has a metal unibody and it is made of nearly 6000 series aluminum. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a 2.5D curved glass covering. The new Nokia 6 will come with two storage options 32GB and 64GB, while a microSD card supports expansion up to 128GB.

Elsewhere, the Nokia 6 2018 comes with USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing unlike the original that came with a standard Micro USB 2.0 port.

On the camera front, the smartphone flaunts a 16-megapixel camera with PDAF, 1.0um sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The phone has Dual-Sight technology with which users can take simultaneous snaps from front and rear camera, also called Bothie.
