The year 2017 wasn't really a great one for Bollywood in terms of box office performance, but Salman's film ended it with a blast as Tiger Zinda Hai touched Rs 22.23 crore on the last day of the year.

Tiger Zinda Hai has earned Rs 7.50 crore net approx on its second Tuesday, thus, taking the total 12 days business to Rs 280 crore net approx.

The biggest action superstar of the country opens up on the incredible success of the film by saying, "For us, it is the audiences love and reactions that matter the most, and we feel overwhelmed with the love that Tiger Zinda Hai has garnered". Bajrangi Bhaijaan helmed by Kabir Khan and Sultan, an Ali Abbas Zafar directorial are the enjoying the status of being members of the Rs 300 crore club. It can rightly be recalled that Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel of his film Ek Tha Tiger, which was also a major hit at the ticket window in 2012. There is no stoppage for Salman's film as it collected Rs 18.04 on Monday.
