In the latest twist to the Lucas Moura transfer saga which appears to have come out of nowhere this January, the winger's former club Sao Paulo have reportedly failed in their attempts to sign the Paris player.
That could work in Liverpool's favour with the club still in Europe's biggest club competition.
After a few short rumours here and there, there's finally a more detailed story about Lucas Moura's possible transfer to Manchester United in the January transfer window.
In case you didn't know..
"What Paris Saint Germain did this season with Neymar and Mbappe, they got two of probably the four best attacking players in the world".
PSG need to sell some players so as to not fall foul of UEFA's financial fair play rule and it seems like manager Unai Emery has given the green light to sell the talented Brazilian star.
"Some players who play less, maybe they can be protagonists of another team because they are good players and do not have the opportunity to play here, like Lucas Moura or Hatem Ben Arfa", he said.
Lucas Moura, at his best, can simply tear apart opposing defences with his pace, dribbling skills and trickery.
Moura, 25, has been told his can leave the Ligue 1 giants this month with United interested in taking him on loan for the rest of 2017-18 season. Still supremely talented and yet to reach full potential, the Brazilian might just burst into life under the astute guidance of Jose Mourinho.
However, United are yet to make an official approach to the French side, with only Nantes having tabled an offer since Lucas' rejection of an earlier bid by Beijing Gouan.
