Bagley sat out Sunday's win over Georgia Tech with a sprained right knee, which he suffered in last Thursday's loss at North Carolina.

Turnovers and missed shots plagued both squads for nearly two minutes, before Ty Jerome knocked down two free throws in a 40-second span-while Miami didn't score it's first points until over four minutes into the game; over a 10-minute scoring drought going back to the close-out at Boston College over the weekend.

Virginia Tech hung tough for a little over a half, but ultimately fell to No. 12 Duke 74-52 in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Wednesday night.

Bagley is leading Duke in scoring (21.2 points) and rebounds (11.4) per game.

Six players are averaging at least 8.6 points per game for Virginia Tech, they are Justin Robinson (13.8), Justin Bibbs (13.6), Kerry Blackshear Jr.

The Hokies are coming off of a 61-60 OT win at Virginia on Saturday. The Hokies played their best 45 minutes of basketball this season in Charlottesville and shut down a UVA offense that had been relatively efficient despite not being a high-scoring team. Grayson Allen had 25 points for Duke, and he was 7-of-15 from three-point range.

In this game, he primarily played off ball. "I thought we managed it OK; statistically I would probably say it was a push when (Robinson) was in and when he wasn't in".

It'll be the second game the 6-11, 234-pounder has missed time due to the injury. Duke slowed Tech down, playing 2-3 zone, while the Blue Devils seemingly couldn't miss on the offensive end.

"Forty minutes of really good basketball", Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said. The Canes need an impressive-enough ACC run and to re-find their groove when Brown is back in the fold and ready to play.

However, senior guard Grayson Allen also made clutch three-pointers while well-defended with the shot clock winding down in the first half. Freshmen Gary Trent Jr. and Trevon Duval assisted Allen from beyond the arc, resulting in the team as a whole going 15-of-33 from the 3-point line. The 16 points are the least Miami has scored in a half this season.

No. 18 Tennessee 70, SC 67: Grant Williams scored 22 points and made a big basket in the closing seconds as the Volunteers (19-6, 9-4 SEC) edged SC 70-67 to hand the Gamecocks their sixth consecutive loss. This was a close game for much of the contest, but Tech didn't play well when they were heavily stressed by the Blue Devils.
