The Buckeyes haven't played a basketball game in nine days, and while they will have to wait four more before they hit the hardwood again, they finally know their opponent. Ohio State vs South Dakoa live stream is on TNT stream.

South Dakota State's third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament will have them heading west to play a team from the Big Ten in Round One.

The Jacks are #1 in the NCAA in defensive rebounds per game (30), #8 offense (85 points per game), in the top 15 in three-pointers made per game (11), free throws made (566), and three-point percentage (40%). and in the top 25 in three-pointers attempted (896) and fewest turnovers (340).

The Sunday selection show followed a surprising season for the Buckeyes (24-8), who rose to the ranking of 13th nationally during the first season for new head coach Chris Holtmann. Freshman guard David Jenkins Jr. chips in 16.1 points per contest while senior forward Reed Tellinghuisen adds 12.0 points per game. Andrew Dakich leads Ohio State with three games of NCAA experience in his time at MI while Tate, Kam Williams and Keita Bates-Diop each played in two NCAA contests for the Buckeyes in the 2014-15 season.

Junior forward Mike Daum is second in the NCAA in defensive rebounding (9 per game), third in double-doubles (21), sixth in points per game (24), and ninth in total rebounding (353).

It's the same position the Buckeyes occupied after an early exit from the Big Ten tournament and is right about where you'd expect a No. 5 seed should be. Kam Williams has appeared in 10 postseason games, including four starts, averaging 5.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Bates-Diop leads in rebounds with 8.8 while Jackson tops in assists with 3.9. Jae'Sean Tate has started all six of his postseason appearances, averaging 9.9 points and 6.0 boards per game. However the Buckeyes tournament stay didn't last long, losing to the Penn State Nittany Lions in the quarterfinals.

The NCAA Tournament is nearly here.
