Taking place on an unknown alien planet it's not only the exotic flora and fauna that impresses, but also the breathtaking volumetric fog, fire, and destruction effects. Then in 2015, Lazar left IO to work on Planet Alpha full time. We are building something special and we're putting everything we have into it.

This game is very pretty, and I can absolutely see why Team17 have signed Planet Alpha up to their games label. "I can not wait to share our creation with the world", said Adrian Lazar, Creator of PLANET ALPHA. Debbie Bestwick, MBE, CEO of Team17 added, "At their best video games can take us to different worlds on fantastic journeys". Bestwick's understanding of the game is nearly as passionate as Lazar's as she states that Planet Alpha has the kind of world that she certainly wanted to spend time in.
CEO of Team17 Debbie Bestwick agrees, adding that Planet Alpha is the kind of game that can "take us to different worlds on awesome journeys".
Team17 has announced Planet Alpha, an atmospheric side-scrolling platform adventure game from Denmark-based independent developer Adrian Lazar, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2018.
