Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch slips to “later this summer”

The PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and STEAM versions of DARK SOULS: REMASTERED will be released on May 25, 2018. Thankfully, the Dark Souls Twitter account has put our fears to bed.

While all of this news about the Dark Souls Remastered delay is certainly disheartening, at least Switch fans know that they will get to try out the remaster before it's Summer 2018 release.

With no solid release date being confirmed, we could potentially see quite a lengthy delay for this one.

Announced earlier this year during a Nintendo Direct, Dark Souls: Remastered - along with the Solaire of Astora amiibo - was poised to arrive on May 25. Enhanced ports of older games, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, have found success on Nintendo's portable/home console hybrid. We offer our sincerest apologies to everyone anticipating its release, and hope you will enjoy being able to play Dark Souls anywhere at any time. Would you rather wait a few extra months if it means Dark Souls Remastered will be a better experience?
