But there is one Android phone that's unlike anything we've seen, and it finally has the backing of a major carrier.
In case you're unfamiliar, the RED Hydrogen One is an, ambitious, Android smartphone which was announced previous year. Kevin Petersen, a senior vice president at AT&T calls the RED Hydrogen One a revolutionary smartphone and says that it will change the way that people create and consume content.
AT&T confirmed as well that it will sell the RED Hydrogen One "later this summer".
Recently, Red stated that the phone was delayed and now coming in August.
YouTube personality Marques Brownlee saw a prototype of the phone past year and was impressed by the holographic screen despite some rough edges that Red will presumably smooth over before the phone launches.

AT&T said in its press release that the device would be available later this summer with Verizon only committing to a window of "later this year". Unlike Verizon, AT&T is ready to let you try the phone yourself, as long as you're willing to go AT&T Shape at Warner Bros. Its holographic 3D without glasses screen has never been previewed before. Studios in Los Angeles on either June 2nd or June 3rd.
