Backstreet Boys are back (alright!)

Backstreet's back, alright - the Backstreet Boys have dropped a new high-energy single 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart', along with a music video.

The song is called "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and no, it's not a cover of Elton John's duet with Kiki Dee. just so you know. A spokesperson told CNN that the new single will be added to the Las Vegas show's existing set list when the Backstreet Boys return. Video for the song entitled Don't Go Breaking My Heart appeared yesterday on YouTube at midnight and is already gaining views.

These guys are readying another leg of their Las Vegas Residency soon - let's hope it sparks off the momentum for a full album (and a world tour).

Their upcoming album is set to be released later this year.

If it feels like it's been a while since you've heard new music from the Backstreet Boys, it's because it has.

"We've been working our ass off for 25 years", says AJ McLean "and with the support of RCA and our contemporaries, we know we'll be performing for fans, both old and new, for a really long time".
