Divinity: Original Sin 2 Enters Game Preview This Week

By not having a program similar to Xbox Game Preview, PlayStation 4 users will have to wait to get a look at Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition.

Beginning on May 16th, Xbox Game Preview will give players special access to the first three hours of DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN 2 DEFINITIVE EDITION's gameplay, for free! There's really no correct way to put into words how good Divinity: Original Sin 2 really is. After those first three hours, players will then be able to choose to unlock the first act, which is around 20 hours, by purchasing the game.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is the well-acclaimed sequel to its fantasy RPG predecessor, Divinity Original Sin. Like the PC release, the game will also support four-player online co-op on consoles, as well as two-player split-screen co-op. The publisher also hasn't announced if a similar early access period will be offered for PS4 owners.

With a rabid fan base backing it up and one of the most consumer-friendly and dedicated video game development studios creating it, it's really no surprise that DOS2 performed as well as it did. Just like the original's "Enhanced Edition", Larian will use its console launch to unveil Original Sin 2's Definitive Edition with new content and various game fixes.

"We've done a lot work since launch to make the game even better, and Xbox Game Preview will let us discover how we can improve it even further". It is already available on PC through Steam.
