Lenovo owned Motorola has announced all new Moto 1S smartphone. The smartphone is already available for purchase via Lenovo's online shop as well as Motorola store in China.
The only difference between the Moto G6 and the Moto 1s is the operating system. The phone is priced at the RMB 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,900) and comes in two color variants, called Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder. However, there is no clarity on the price, release date, or availability in India.
In terms of optics, the Moto 1s sports a dual camera setup at the back with a 12-megapixel sensor with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone runs a Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC, which offers clock speeds of 1.8GHz.
There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 128GB using the MicroSD card slot. The reason for the change is probably the launcher, which in this case is the custom ZUI 3.5 based on Android 8.0 Oreo instead of the stock Android experience on the G6. Moreover, the G6 Play comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is equipped with a 3000mAh battery with support for turbocharging. It also comes with P2i nano splash-proof coating for water resistance and Dolby audio technology. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It measures 154.50 x 72.30 x 8.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 168.00 grams.
