Rumors about the characters in the new Star Wars movie are intensifying as the Han Solo movie release date nears. At least, not until director Ron Howard set up an epic surprise for Ehrenreich during an interview with "Entertainment Tonight".
Star Wars fan Nick Acosta did just that with his video "True Solo" - posted Sunday on Vimeo - in which he swaps out Ehrenreich for digital composites of Ford's face in the trailer. Originally, it was gonna be me and [then-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller] and the head of the studio [Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy] and stuff and then, scheduling it, it was just me. The movie would end up becoming Harrison Ford's sendoff from the franchise, and Kasdan was recruited to pitch in with that script. I met him in his airplane hanger with five airplanes surrounding us.
The brand new Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to open in theaters on May 25, but we're giving away tickets to see a sneak preview of the movie before it opens to everyone else.
It's genuinely relieving to hear that Harrison Ford and Alden Ehrenreich have a good relationship.
"The only thing better than one Han Solo is two".
This follows the reaction from original Lando Calrissian actor Billy Dee Williams, who apparently loved Solo: A Star Wars Story, according to Donald Glover.
The highly-anticipated Star Wars spin-off hits cinemas later this month (May18), with Ron admitting his work on Willow informed some of his decisions on Solo.
