Oklahoma's suddenly volatile political landscape is daily turning even more rumbly.

Primary runoff Election Day is May 22.

It's also the first election since the Pennsylvania Supreme Court redrew the state's congressional districts after ruling that old maps were unconstitutionally gerrymandered.

But the primary results and the type of candidates entered in them will say a lot about who voters want making decisions in the next four to 10 years, and what the parties' and the state's priorities will be. Last year, Lamar Smith announced he would retire. Amber Little-Turner is running unopposed in the Republican Primary. They are Jeff Bartos, a real estate investor from suburban Philadelphia who is campaigning with Wagner; Diana Irey Vaughan, a Washington County commissioner who has run previously for Congress and state treasurer and who is campaigning with Mango; Kathy Coder, a Republican State Committee member from Allegheny County; and Marguerite "Peg" Luksik, a longtime conservative activist from Cambria County who has run twice for governor and once for U.S. Senate.

The Delaware County Democrats were unable to agree on an endorsement, but Ms. Scanlon received a plurality of votes, followed by Ms. Lunkenheimer. One is Democrat Kilmyn Easley-Graf, whose father, Kevin Easley, and grandmother, Mary Easley, both served in the Legislature. In the State House, there are 119 Republicans and 81 Democrats, and three vacant seats.

In HD 80, Republican incumbent Mike Ritze appears to face his toughest re-election battle.

Return voted vote-by-mail ballots directly to the Elections Department or place in one of the postage-free official ballot drop boxes located in front of the Elections Department office, Redding City Hall, Anderson City Hall, and the Shasta Lake Community Center.

360 - Candidates for the state's 101 House of Representatives seats.

Every congressional district in Virginia except for one is contested this year.

Ohio County Schools Superintendent Scott Lewis faces Jordan Lanham for the Republican nomination.

Democrats are settling primary races to challenge five Republican incumbents and to run in November's general election for five open seats.

9 - Total candidates for HD 98 in Broken Arrow and Wagoner County.
