Bandai Namco has announced Jump Force, a Shonen Jump mash-up set within a dark and destroyed world where characters from various anime and comic book franchises beat the crap out of one another. This is a 3v3 brawler that can pit Dragon Ball's Goku, One Piece's Monkey D. Luffy, and Naruto Shippuden's Naruto up against the infamous Dragon Ball Z villain, Frieza. The city itself doesn't seem to be from any particular series, but it does offer an interesting opportunity to see the heroes in a different context.
E3 footage also confirms Roronoa Zoro from One Piece and Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto. Then, in the stinger, Light and Ryuk from Death Note show up. This shonen manga anthology is where a ton of fan favorite series got their starts. Now, I'm not saying that Jump Force steps over Infinity War, but with the very little we know, it's already primed to be part of the conversation.
In essence, Jump Force is your typical 3D fighting game, and it plays pretty similarly to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
