Microsoft 'accidentally' leaked pre-order bonuses for Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar Games has officially announced Red Dead Redemption 2's pre-order bonuses and various editions, including the usual standard edition, Special Edition and Ultimate Edition for digital buyers, as well as a physical Special, Ultimate and big kahuna Collector's Edition available for purchase at retail. "The page claims that this is usable immediately upon pre-ordering the game by searching "$500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online" using the Microsoft Store search bar. It also says this edition includes all of the Story Mode content from the Special Edition. The standard edition of the game costs $59.99.

Anyone who pre-orders a digital version of Red Dead Redemption 2 from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store will get the bonuses listed above, plus a handful of other digital freebies thrown in for good measure.

The Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit: Inspired by the clothing worn by vaqueros and banditos south of the border.

The ultimate edition comes with all the content from the special edition, plus the following. UPDATE: The Collector's Box is available to pre-order from GameStop now for $99.99. However, it does have a Van der Linde gang-inspired metal tithing box with lock and key, a challenge coin, a double-sided puzzle, a six shooter bandana, a treasure map, a set of six pins, a deck of playing cards, 12 cigarette cards and a Wheeler, Rawson & Co.

Bonus Outfits: The Blackrose Bounty Hunter Outfit and The Copperhead Enforcer Outfit.

The fact that one extra is just free money in GTA Online is curious though, as you could infer that to mean that Red Dead Redemption II doesn't have any equivalent of its own.

Black Chestnut Thoroughbred: Outrun the competition with this thoroughbred racehorse in a striking black chestnut coat and also receive the exclusive High Plains Cutting Saddle beautifully crafted in jet-black leather with gold metal accents. Oh, and you'll get a steelbook case and the treasure map from the other versions.

The Special Edition's weapons include the "Volcanic Pistol", "Pump-Action Shotgun" and "Lancaster Varmint Rifle".

Rank Bonuses: You'll get bonus experience online until Rank 25. The Standard Edition Digital Pre-Order gets players $500,000, the Special Edition Digital nets $1,000,000, and the Ultimate Edition Digital Pre-Order nets $2,000,000.

First off, it's important to note that the Collector's Box does not include the game.

Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Rockstar have also opened pre-orders on a Special Edition, Ultimate Edition and Collector's Box for the anticipated open-world adventure.
