New Platinum game Babylon’s Fall revealed in Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018

Square Enix may not have the most to show off at the 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles this week, but it does have some of the most anticipated games in development.

What are you hoping to see at the Square Enix E3 Showcase?

Dragon Age XI is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, in North America and Europe, on September 4, 2018. Additionally we saw the Kingdom Hearts III trailer we saw at the Microsoft event yesterday, along with a deeper look into Captain Spirit, which looks cute, but I find it hard to get super excited about.

A live action trailer seamlessly morphs into an a CG fight sequence in the teaser for "The Quiet Man".

The new trailer shows off some exciting new abilities and story elements for the game. It's clear that Square Enix is bringing everything together for a big finale with Kingdom Hearts 3.

More information was promised in August, which perhaps means Gamescom. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link.

The trailer also showed some more hints at the bigger plot of Kingdom Hearts 3, including the return of some fan-favorite characters. The December 8 release date does seem to suggest a very optimistic view of its chances though.

Octopath Traveler was also given a quick name check, while a crossover with Monster Hunter: World was announced for MMO Final Fantasy XIV Online this summer.

Are you looking forward to Just Cause 4? By giving early glimpses to Microsoft, they took out a lot of sting from their own conference before it even began.
