Release Date Confirmed for February 22, 2019 - Anthem

EA went all in on Anthem at its E3 presentation this year.

While fans can tune in now for some of the pre-show coverage, the big reveals are scheduled to begin at 7pm, BST. For those aching for more Anthem, more footage and information will definitely be cropping up along the week, so make sure to stay tuned for more updates.

Many see it as the successor to BioWare's Mass Effect series, which has been killed off for the time being. Change the paint job, apply decals (one design looked suspiciously similar to the Mass Effect N7 suit), and even change the shape of the suit itself to suit your fancy. Players will wield an arsenal of Javelin exosuits, each equipped with unique weapons and abilities.

EA debuted a new subscription service at EA Play, which is their answer to Xbox Game Pass. Details are light on the ground, but it will be an upgrade on Origin Access and give players access to new EA game from day one for a subscription fee.

One is a closer look at some of those gameplay mechanics that were seen a year ago.

They also showcased a multiplayer trailer for BF V. Watch it below! In addition to this, Anthem has a release date of February 22, 2019.

Warner replied: "Yeah we'll have a beta!" The new trailer surrounds a storm that's on the verge of wiping out civilization as we know it. This time the action focuses on co-op, offering more challenging platforming and puzzles. If I were to bet on it, I would say that if we're going to see a Skate 4 announcement, it will be at the Microsoft conference tomorrow.

There's a new Star Wars game in the works from the team at Respawn.

EA Play will be broadcast live on June 9 at 11am PT, 2pm ET, or 7pm BST. The world is shared when out in the open with other players. Besides the reveal that the game is being built to support new story content for years, it was also confirmed that Anthem won't have loot boxes, instead allowing players to purchase specific cosmetic items.
