Whole Foods offering Hawaii customers Prime discount starting Wednesday

Items eligible for additional Prime member discounts will be designated by special signs in Whole Foods stores.

Amazon and Whole Foods Markets announced the prime savings will expand to 10 new states this week, including Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, Oregon, North Carolina and Washington. The service began in February in Austin, Dallas, Cincinnati and Virginia Beach, Va. Amazon has owned Austin-based Whole Foods since August 2017.

Amazon announced its Prime members in North Carolina will receive an exclusive discount at local Whole Foods Market stores starting Wednesday, June 13th.

Commenting on the news, A.C. Gallo, president and chief operating officer at Whole Foods Market said, "Based on the positive customer feedback and successes we've seen over the past month, we're accelerating our timeline to expand these savings to all of our USA stores". Amazon Prime members in Alabama will soon save a little more at Whole Foods. Customers also can see Prime offers via the Whole Foods app. From there you can show the in-app Prime Code at checkout or enter your phone number to save.

Two-hour delivery is free and one-hour delivery is $7.99 on orders $35 or more. Select alcohol is also available for delivery.

With the newest expansion, Amazon Prime deals will be available to shoppers of Whole Foods stores in almost half the country.
