DJ Khaled pulls out of Wireless 2018 performance 'due to travel issues'

Wireless Festival falls silent to remember 77 young people murdered in London

J Cole is headlining day one of the day’s musical event

Davido was the man of the hour as he set the Wireless Festival stage on fire with a stellar performance on the second day of the music event.

DJ Khaled was supposed to headline Wireless Festival in London yesterday (July 8), but due to a "scheduling conflict", the fest announced at the last minute that he wouldn't be performing.

The unscheduled appearance came after DJ Khaled pulled out of his headline set, leaving fans wondering who would replace him.

Making his way onto the Wireless Festival stage, Drake was brought out by United Kingdom rapper Giggs and they burst into their joint hit "KMT" before Drake performed a surprise setlist of his own.

Not only were fans treated to a hype performance from the Canadian superstar, but they were among the first to ever hear live versions of songs from Drizzy's new album "Scorpion". Khaled spent Saturday posting chilled-out family vacation snapshots with captions like "Still on vacation!" and "Still in the pool!" "You've really let us down and made me cry on my birthday".

Another tweeted: "Pls DJ Khaled and his friends better be on a jet to wireless rn".

Drake at Wireless Festival 2018 was only a wishful rumour, especially after this video of Drake discussing Wireless resurfaced on Twitter, however, it officially become true for many happy fans on Sunday.

One wrote: "Drake is at #wireless... was a good substitution still".
