George Clooney hospitalized after vehicle hits his scooter in Italy

George Clooney was reportedly involved in a motorbike accident on an Italian island Tuesday.

The daily says the 57-year-old Clooney had been headed to a film set on Tuesday when his motorbike was hit by a vehicle.

Daily newspaper La Nuova Sardegna said the 57-year-old Clooney was heading to a film set a vehicle hit his motorbike.

According to the site, George was said to be hit by a auto which suddenly changed direction at a spot close to a hotel.

Italian paper La Nuova reported that he was rushed to the emergency room at John Paul II Hospital, but he is not believed to be seriously hurt.

It's not just the Clooneys spending the summer in Italy, George's parents and Amal's mum were also seen arriving on separate flights.

HuffPost UK has contacted George's representatives for comment.
