George Clooney reported hurt in motorcycle crash in Italy

According to the Mirror, Clooney was riding his scooter in Costa Corallina, where he's filming a new TV series called 'Catch 22, ' when the incident occurred as he was on his way to the series set.

George Clooney has been involved in an accident.

Local daily La Nuova Sardegna said Clooney's injuries were not serious, but he was taken to the John Paul II hospital emergency room.

A fire extinguisher can be seen on the road but no people from the accident were involved. Authorities say that Clooney was not seriously injured and confirm he was released from the hospital a short time later.

Amal, 40, and George, along with their one-year-old twins, are now living in Sardinia for the summer, where he is filming his new TV series, Catch 22.

George has been working hard in the region for his new project Catch 22, with the star directing, producing and starring in the six episode miniseries based on Joseph Heller's seminal novel.

Clooney was pictured stepping off a private jet with wife Amal and twins, Alexander and Ella, near the end of last month.

The A-list couple are believed to have brought their parents to the island to help care for the children while George works.

They met when she attended one of his parties at his Lake Como mansion, and Wednesday in Venice a year later.
