Watch Grayson Allen, Trae Young Get Into Scuffle During Summer League Game

College stars-turned-NBA rookies Grayson Allen and Trae Young got into a scuffle during a Summer League game.

But may I implore you non-Utah Jazz fans to step back and marvel at Allen, who I'm convinced will be an important rotation player in the league for years? After coming off a pindown, Young popped out to the top of the 3-point arc and caught a pass and was met by Allen. He got close to defend the former Oklahoma Sooners star, before Young deployed a ball fake.

The rookie guards each earned a technical foul for roughhousing in the second half of Hawks vs. Grayson then retaliated with a "Zidanesque" headbutt to the chest, bringing tension and emotion to the scene.

"That's not the first time Grayson has gotten tangled up with someone", Young said after the game, per ESPN's Kevin Arnovitz, "but it's not the first time and last time I'm going to get tangled up with someone". Allen was also given a personal foul.

Prior to being ejected, Baldwin scored 20 points and added three rebounds and five assists. Allen's reputation, first established at Duke, makes it hard to believe he was completely innocent in inciting this act.
