Miami Man With No Arms Stabs Chicago Tourist

Crenshaw, 46, uses his feet to paint and allegedly used his feet again to stab tourist Cesar Coronado, 22, after midnight on Tuesday, the newspaper reports.

Jonathan Crenshaw is a fixture in South Beach, known for painting canvasses with his feet in the heavily trafficked tourist area.

However, Crenshaw claimed he was acting in self-defense, telling police he was lying down and Coronado, who was visiting from Chicago, punched him in the head, according to Reuters.

Coronado was found bleeding from his left arm; Crenshaw was arrested the following day and he told an officer that the stabbing happened in self-defence, the Herald reported.

In a freaky incident, a 46-year-old homeless was arrested for stabbing a tourist with a pair of scissors using his feet.

He was taken to the hospital.

Police said there were no indications that Crenshaw was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident. After stabbing him, he says he placed the scissors in his waistband and walked away from the scene.

Crenshaw's arrest record dates to 2008 and lists arrests for disorderly intoxication, vandalism, and battery on police officers, firefighters and city code inspectors.

Crenshaw was booked for battery charges on Tuesday night and his bond was set at $7,500, according to Miami-Dade Corrections.
