Although the 53-year-old hasn't been afraid of criticizing her duchess sister in the media, she's adamant that her appearance on the hit Great Britain show will have nothing to do with the newest royal.
Sharon Osbourne, who isn't exactly known for hiding her opinions, has spoken out against Meghan's father, Thomas, several times on The Talk this week, claiming that while she doesn't know him personally, "It's so obvious [he has] a bad drinking problem". How cold can you be and look in the mirror? "I gave another interview to break the silence".
The outspoken half-sister of Meghan Markle is reportedly being lined up to appear in Celebrity Big Brother, due to air August 17. While at Comic-Con promoting her new film Predator on Thursday (July 19), the star opened up to ET about why she'd never want to join the Royal Family and revealed the unexpected ties that the film's writer-director Shane Black has to the Duchess of Sussex.
"She's real angry. She says a lot of insane stuff in the press", she said.
"I would only do it if I'm not being set up by a shock jock who wants to be rude and slam the phone down", she said, before adding that she worked in radio and is good with "comebacks".
"I think everyone would find all that protocol a little cumbersome", another Markle fan wrote. She said that Osbourne's comments have "infuriated" Thomas, but it's also "painful" for Meghan to continue to see him and Samantha speak out against her in the press. Explaining his recent slew of highly publicised interviews, to which the palace has not responded, he said: "I was silent for a full year".
The Duchess of Sussex's half-sister has said she wants to "cash in" on the opportunity - but won't be discussing Meghan.
More recently Thomas said his daughter was no longer picking up on the number he had to contact her.
