PlayStation 4 System Update 6.00 Beta Registration Are Now Open

The new features and additions for this upcoming PS4 firmware update are still unknown so we will have to wait and see to find out more about it.

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment started to recruit beta testers for the next major system software update for the PlayStation 4.

Although no official announcements have been made yet, the beta sign-up pages for North America and Japan are now open. You'll then have until July 27th in order to get your registration in. Will this be the update that finally brings PSN ID name changes?

Sony is now recruiting some beta testers for the next major system software update for the PS4. We still don't have an exact release date for when the full update will go live, but at least we know Sony has the ball rolling. Like games, when a new set of numbers is entered, that marks entering a new era of experience.
