Barcelona have ruled out the possibility of signing Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer because of the costs of a potential deal.

Mbappe has arguably been the stand out attacking player at the World Cup in Russian Federation, despite only being 19-years-old and rumours have been circulating for some months now that PSG may be forced to pull out of the deal they agreed with Monaco at the end of last season.

Hazard also said that he is focusing on the World Cup for now, where he has been one of the standout talents scoring twice and providing two assists.

The attacker has done little to play down the speculation with his latest comments on the current European champions.

Real are said to be targeting Hazard following their sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. Hazard told beIN SPORTS. "Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Madrid] is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay".

Prior to the start of the World Cup, many had questioned whether Gareth Southgate was correct to select Pickford as England's first-choice goalkeeper, citing the Everton man's lack of experience. "I am at Chelsea and for the moment nobody has made me an offer". This has put pressure on manager Antonio Conte and despite winning the FA Cup against Manchester United in the final, Conte's position at Chelsea is in jeopardy.

While it does seem like the Belgian captain, Hazard, is the best and most feasible choice, it remains to be seen if Madrid can succeed in prying him away from Roman Abramovic's grasp.
