Samsung profits slow due to weak smartphone sales

Samsung Galaxy X foldable battery

SamsungThe report insists the battery will be between 3,000mAh and 6,000mAh in capacity

SAMSUNG'S RUN OF RECORD PROFITS looks to be coming to an end and the Galaxy S9 is reportedly to blame. Now that mid-2018 is here and the expected release date is drawing near, new Chinese and Korean rumors concerning the specs of the Galaxy X emerge, presenting truly revolutionary technologies. The smartwatch, which will probably be called Galaxy Watch, is based on Wear OS and packs a 470mAh battery, a panel level package (PLP) chip, as well as a new UX interaction and blood pressure measurement system.

Additionally, Ice Universe said the Galaxy S10 would be unveiled at MWC 2019.

"Sentiment is absolutely not positive as South Korea heavily relies on exports, but we should see if that really hurts financially key exporters like Samsung", said Park Jung-hoon, a fund manager at HDC Asset Management that owns Samsung shares. Now, new reports have surfaced claiming the device will feature a 6000mAh curved battery and is set to debut at CES 2019. But it's interesting to hear about the kind of changes the tenth-anniversary Galaxy S flagship could bring on the imaging front, and we can expect to see more rumors about the same surfacing online in the months to come.

German site AllAboutSamsung reports that the company is expected to launch a triple camera setup on the most premium Samsung Galaxy S10 (Beyond 2).

The word on the street is that Samsung's foldable device cost about $1,900 when it launches.
