Mr Avenatti tweeted that Ms Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, had been performing "the same act she has performed across the nation at almost 100 strip clubs". They are devoting law enforcement resources to sting operations for this?

Daniels was one of three people arrested at the club, but it's unclear who the other two were. Daniels was arrested by several Columbus police officers after she also allegedly fondled the breasts of female patrons and held the face of a female officer into her chest, WBNS-TV first reported.

Ms Daniels became embroiled in a row with President Donald Trump after saying she had slept with him in 2006, an allegation which he denies.

'We will fight all bogus charges'. Columbus Police confirmed to the Columbus Dispatch the law is rarely enforced in the state of OH despite being on the books for the past 11 years. He said his client was "performing the same performance that she has conducted at over a hundred strip clubs around the country".

NBC News have posted a video online of what they say is Ms Daniels arriving at Jackson Pike Correctional Center in handcuffs.

An Ohio law prohibits anyone who isn't a family member to touch a nude or semi-nude dancer. There has to be higher priorities!

Franklin County Municipal Court records reportedly show that she was released Thursday morning after posting a $6,054 bail. She shoved each of their faces between her breasts, court documents said. A person who answered the phone at the strip club declined to comment.

The adult film actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was performing on Wednesday night at Sirens club, in the city of Columbus.

Daniels is suing Trump and his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen to nullify a 2016 non-disclosure agreement preventing her from speaking out about the affair she says she had with Trump in 2006.

A defamation lawsuit was also filed in April, alleging the President tried to tarnish her reputation and credibility by dismissing her claim a man threatened her in 2011, when she was ready to go public about her alleged affair with Trump. The White House has said Trump denies an affair happened. He initially said he used his own money to pay Daniels and was not reimbursed by Trump.
