Bachelorette Becca Kufrin picks her man and Bachelor Nation does not approve

The Bachelorette‘s Garrett Yrigoyen says he didn't mean to 'hurt anybody' by liking offensive posts | TheHill

That's probably for the best, isn't it?

Garrett Yrigoyen may have won Becca Kufrin's heart on "The Bachelorette", but a scandal that broke out while the show was airing had him seriously anxious he'd lose it.

After Becca's date with Blake, it seemed she might choose him instead. "We just want to be normal and in public", she added. "I'm anxious that something was off, it's not good".

"I was #TeamGarrett until he said the Parkland victims were crisis actors". "Now I have to sit here and stew on it for 36 hours". Becca gives the Final Rose to the man she gave the First Impression Rose to - just like JoJo, Kaitlyn and Rachel before her.

Kufrin accepted his proposal without hesitation, jokingly noting that this is the last time she would do this. He tells Becca that he loves fly fishing with her and she tells him that he reminds her of her dad. I think you are making a mistake. I knew that you'd be there and you'd be a partner to me - and a teammate. "I honestly didn't see this for the longest time". Next Bachelor alert, anyone?

Becca Kufrin may not have won over Arie Luyendyk's heart, but "The Bachelorette" star is getting another shot at love with her new fiancé. But at the finale's conclusion, his appearance still hadn't surfaced.

Earlier in the season, TMZ leaked out a photo of Becca and Garrett at the final rose ceremony. 'It's a conversation that unfortunately won't be shown but it was really positive for all of us.

A preview for the finale obtained by Entertainment Tonight has even shown Becca crying to the cameras, "I feel bad".

"It was affecting her, and that was hurting me the most".

"We're so happy, so in love", Becca told Harrison in the studio. Garrett says he doesn't have butterflies around Becca, because butterflies are too small.

Yrigoyen received a wave of backlash in May after posts he "liked" on Instagram resurfaced, including some memes that mocked immigrants and transgender people. Garrett previously apologized for those double-taps and likes, while Becca urged viewers to keep an open mind and not judge contestants so harshly, effectively tipping her hand that she'd pick him in the end.

"She's helped me through everything".

"We've been honest and open and transparent with one another since the beginning".

Going into Monday's episode, only Yrigoyen and runner-up Blake Horstmann remained, leaving Kufrin the hard choice of breaking one of their hearts. "When we started talking about that, we got through that together and we're growing and progressing and we're moving forward".

Forgive our cynicism, y'all - we've just seen things play out this way so many times before. "I have his back.' Because I can't give away the ending". On the show, we don't have phones or social media.

By contrast, Blake was dry-eyed although he claimed to love Becca just as much. "I know that he stands by his apology, and he feels so bad for everyone that he did offend, and ... he didn't mean it. He didn't mean it".

People shares some tidbits from Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen about the state of their relationship. "I was very anxious about it, that I might lose her from that".

"I'm really sorry I didn't mean to offend anybody, but now I know the weight that a like holds on Instagram and things like that, so we just addressed it, her and I", he said.

Yrigoyen, a Reno, Nevada-based medical sales representative, 29, dropped down on one knee and asked for Kufrin's hand in marriage after Kufrin said three magic words.
