Surveillance Footage of XxxTentacion Murder Released

Haunting surveillance video showing the murder of slain rapper XXXTentacion was played by prosecutors during a Broward County court hearing Thursday.

The video, recorded in court by Miami ABC affiliate WPLG, shows Onfroy sitting inside his BMW when he was approached by two men who jumped out of the passenger side of a vehicle, ran to Onfroy's auto window and demanded the rapper's chain, police said.

The video shows X walking into the motorcycle dealership in Pompano Beach, FL ... and you see two of the suspects follow him into the building. One of them actually walked around to the passenger side and got into his auto before fleeing the scene.

WPLG Local 10 provided the footage to the Miami Herald after prosecutors played the video during a discovery and bail hearing for Allen, one of the four suspects. A struggled ensued, leading Boatwright to shoot XXXTentacion. They then made off with his bag, which authorities have stated contained more than $50,000 cash.

One man, identified as Michael Boatwright, fired the fatal shots while another, believed to be Trayvon Newsome, stole items from the vehicle.

The video then shows two armed men approach the 20-year-old's BMW while he was stopped at a traffic light.

Dedrick Williams, Boatwright, Newsome and Allen have all been charged with first-degree murder. However, Judge Michael Usan denied the request and ruled that Allen should remain in jail.

Three other men have been indicted for the alleged roles in the shooting and are also in pre-trial proceedings.
