Singer Ariana Grande covered up the tattoo she dedicated to ex-fiance Pete Davidson during her first appearance post their rumoured breakup.

After days of reports that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have broken up and called off their whirlwind romance, it looks like the singer is planning to step out of the spotlight for a little while.

The insider adds that the Saturday Night Live star is now staying with family in NY.

After ending their four-month-long engagement, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson continue to be making headlines and not for the best reasons.

The news comes after the singer appeared on NBC's A Very Wicked Halloween without her engagement ring. "That was always a dream of hers", the insider said. Grande had "Pete" inked on her left ring finger, but she wore a Band-Aid over it.

This one, also, seems to have been covered up.

According to the source, Davidson was "happy" that Grande performed in the Wicked special. Grande has reportedly chose to take a break from social media, she revealed in a post to her Instagram story on October 16, which has since been deleted.

Her social media accounts are still active. After all, she's had an incredibly hard year, between the anniversary of the Manchester arena bombing, Miller's sudden death and now, her rumored breakup with Davidson.

Another source disclosed to E! "Ariana hasn't given herself enough time for the grieving and healing process, and feels like her emotions are out of control".

Adam Devine will replace Pete at the Temple University event.

Our beloved pop princess will return to United Kingdom television 16 months on from "One Love Manchester" with her very own one-hour live show on the BBC.

A third insider shared at an earlier time that Grande has been "completely overwhelmed and wants to slow down".
