Walsh and his dancing partner Katya Jones have been controversial figures at the centre of this year's Strictly after it was revealed that the pair had been seen kissing each other during a night out in London.
It was a good week for Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules.
The DJ Vick Hope, who was voted off the show on Saturday, complained about producers and the judging panel consulting before giving their verdicts on the Sunday night results show.
After a tense dance-off, head judge Shirley Ballas made the decision to send home Miss Hope and her partner Graziano Di Prima.
"You share all day".
After her departure, Vick appeared on the Capital FM Breakfast Show, and told host Roman Kemp: "We had to have a dance off as well (but) it was very odd - so after the dance off there was a conflab with the producers and then they gave their decision".
"She's come across as a bad loser when they've done so much to support her".
"There was this stunned silence, it was a really weird atmosphere".
"Each judge votes on each dance independently, based on its merits and in their expert opinion alone", a spokesperson for the show said.
She said she had a feeling they were in trouble because the judges had not liked their cha cha cha to More Than Friends by James Hype featuring Kelli-Leigh.
In the days that followed both issued public apologies; Katya is married to fellow professional dancer Neil Jones while Seann was dating at the time actress Rebecca Humphries although she dumped him and later shared a savage statement on social media. The judges use an electronic voting pad to transmit their score or choice of who to save to the production gallery, which is then locked in and can not be changed.
"The process was exactly the same this weekend". I've had the time of my life so I want to thank everyone for being the best possible people I could spend all this time with.
