Housefull 4 is directed by Sajid Khan, who was recently implicated in the #MeToo allegations by three women. Soon after Akshay Kumar announced the cancellation the shooting, Sajid Khan tweeted he's "stepping down" from the post of director of the film "till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth". "This can not go on", she wrote on Twitter.
In a move that came as a complete shocker and also an eye-opener to the film fraternity, Superstar Akshay Kumar has chose to cancel the shooting of his upcoming film "Housefull 4". She also said the filmmaker has targeted many girls and it's time to speak about it. He said that this requires stringent action and hence he will not work with any proven sex offenders. Later he briefly met the media and said: "My lawyer has asked me to not talk to any channel, have to listen to him". Mr Patekar sent the actress a legal notice.
Actress Saloni Chopra has made serious allegations on the director and told about her horrific incident when she was once an assistant to Khan. Now, in 2018 also, she has filed an FIR in Oshiwara police station. After Rajat Kapur, Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath and others, another famous name to join the list of alleged predators is that of director Sajid Khan.
Saloni wrote in harrowing detail of harassment she faced at his hands, which included talk of whether she would ever get a breast job done, how sex was really a mental connection and how she was foolish in thinking that casting couch was about one-time sex and that it would end after that and how he wanted her to be a director's assistant and not an assistant director. She told in a series of tweets that he asked her to strip down to bikini and even asked her to seduce him in 5 mins at his home. She wrote: "The first time I interviewed Sajid Khan in the early 2000s, he called me to the house he shared w/ his sister".
This user asked Farhan Akhtar to take a stand against his cousin Sajid Khan and doubted whether he would do it, as the #MeToo movement has come into his own family circle.
