Trump is scheduled to hold a news conference on Wednesday afternoon, a decision he reportedly made to ramp up the defense of Kavanaugh ahead of a high-stakes hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee where the judge and one of his accusers will testify Thursday.

Swetnick also allegedly owed $40,303 to the IRS stemming from unpaid 2014 taxes, resulting in a federal tax lien on her home.

It's important to note that Swetnick does not say specifically that Kavanaugh was one of those who raped her, only that he was present when she was raped.

Swetnick, who described herself in court records as a model and actor, claimed she had "numerous modeling commitments" with several companies at the time of the accident but missed out them because of her injuries.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford initially came forward with allegations against Kavanaugh months ago, claiming that he and Mark Judge sexually assaulted her at a gathering. Mr. Judge's lawyer denied the allegations.

A lawyer for Ramirez confirmed Saturday that his client - who alleges that Kavanaugh exposed his penis to her during a drunken party at a Yale University dormitory when they were undergraduates - will cooperate fully with Federal Bureau of Investigation agents.

She said she saw Kavanaugh behave as a "mean drunk" at such parties and witnessed him "engage in highly inappropriate conduct" that included the "fondling and grabbing of girls without their consent". "I want the American people to have those facts and judge for themselves", she said.

"Avenatti is a third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is now doing on Judge Brett Kavanaugh", Trump tweeted.

Swetnick also says that Kavanaugh and Judge were among the boys who, at other parties in the early 1980s, spiked drinks in order to disorient girls and take advantage of them sexually.

Earlier, Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual assault and misconduct by two other women.

However, the White House has reportedly blocked the FBI from investigating Swetnick's claims as officials work to limit the scope of the probe reopened by Trump Friday evening. "There's no conclusions reached", Kavanaugh said. "And if he's going to have that seat legitimately, all of these things should be investigated", Swetnick told Showtime's "The Circus" in a short clip that aired on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Thursday morning. She was raised in CT as a self-described "devout Catholic" and lives in Boulder, Colorado.

Helene Moglen, Swetnick's aunt, told AP this week that her niece went off to college but quickly moved back home.

Ko, however, told AP on Friday that he was just a friend of Swetnick's and that he had never owned a company with a name spelled either way and had never agreed to pay her money for any work before she injured her nose.

"I don't know, frankly", said Avenatti.

"I can always be convinced", Trump said at a press conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in NY, on the eve of a key Senate hearing at which a university professor accusing his nominee of assault will detail her allegations to lawmakers.
