In a almost 10-minute long speech in the Oval Office, West says he was pressured not to wear his red "Make America Great Again".

Holding out his phone, West showed Trump a picture of a hydrogen-powered plane that he thought should replace Air Force One. "We have to bring jobs into America because our best export is entertainment and ideas, but when we make everything in China and not in America, we're cheating on our country and we're putting people in positions to have to do illegal things to end up in the cheapest factory ever, the prison system".

"I tell you what, that was pretty impressive", Trump said.

Kanye - who last month announced he had changed his stage name to "Ye" - was visiting the White House to have lunch with the President and discuss issues he feels are most important to African Americans.

"Trump is on his hero's journey right now", West said.

West accuses black people of being "caught up" in racism: Thirteen years after his jaw-dropping declaration that "George Bush doesn't care about black people", during a live telethon dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, West says he fell prey to a "victimized mentality".

In June, Trump commuted the life sentence of a woman for a first-time drug offense whose cause was taken up by celebrity Kanye West's wife, Kim Kardashian West. Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old from Tennessee, had served more than 20 years in prison on drug conspiracy and money laundering charges.

Kanye continued, saying "when I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman ... that's my favorite superhero, and you made a Superman cape for me, also as a guy that looks up to you, looks up to American industry Gods..." "This hat, it gives me power in a way".

But fans are not happy about the social media stunt, which came after the artist made headlines for his outspoken support of United States president Donald Trump on Friday.

Ahead of a private lunch, the US President and West spoke with reporters as they sat across from each other at the Resolute desk.

"It was from the soul", West replied. "And we met, and I just appreciate it very much".

"It hurts us because we need to focus on who were are today", he said.

West's appearance was a particularly freakish moment for the White House this week, according to reports.

"You don't have to agree with [T] rump but the mob can't make me not love him", West wrote on Twitter."We are both dragon energy".

'You a** kissing and bootlicking on a whole new level and I refuse to associate myself with something so vile, weak, and inconsiderate to the effect this has on the greater good of ALL OUR PEOPLE!
