They won more regular season games than ever before, gave up less runs than any American League team has surrendered in a non-strike year since the designated hitter was implemented and allowed fewer runs than all but two National League teams have given up since 1974. While both teams bring major bullpen questions into the series, the Dodgers unquestionably have two of the best arms in baseball: Clayton Kershaw and soon-to-be-household-name rookie Walker Buehler to push them to the next round.

It has been 14 years since the Red Sox and Yankees last met in the post-season - in 2004, the Red Sox rallied from three games down for a stunning AL Championship Series triumph.

Los Angeles can sweep the best-of-five series in game three on Sunday in Atlanta, while Milwaukee can do the same in Colorado on Sunday. Home field advantage at the venerable Fenway Park will be the difference as Boston will advance to the American League Championship Series.

The starting pitching was ridiculous with Justin Verlander in the running for the Cy Young Award and Charlie Morton and Gerritt Cole joining him in the 200 strikeout club.

Alex Bregman, Jose Altuve and Martin Maldonado also connected for the Astros, who hit a World Series-record 15 homers past year in winning their first championship. From Hurricane Harvey to World Series champs in 2017, the Astros seek to chase title number two, but in the way are the Cleveland Indians.

Prediction: Los Angeles in 5 games.

Milwaukee beat out the Chicago Cubs not only for the NL Central title, but also for the top spot in the entire National League.

This would be the 12th World Series meeting between these old rivals, but the first since 1981.

Fenway Park will be rocking as the Milwaukee Brewers visit the Boston Red Sox in this year's World Series. Meanwhile, Boston's potent right-handed lineup will neutralize Milwaukee's flame-throwing lefthander Josh Hader.
