Strictly Come Dancing contestant Seann Walsh and his professional dancing partner Katya Jones made a subdued appearance on the spin-off show It Takes Two to address the cheating scandal that has blown up since pictures of them kissing were published at the weekend. We were getting on well, we were having fun.

Humphries said she had not received a personal apology from Walsh over the incident with dancer Katya Jones, 29, outside a west London pub last week, photographs of which appeared in the national press.

Seann and Katya have now both publicly apologised for their actions via Twitter.

In the message to her fans the actress said on the affair: "It's incredibly good of Sean (n) and Katya to apologise in the media".

She liked one tweet that said: "You should stop @BBCStrictly out of respect and apologise to @Beckshumps, neither of you have apologised to her".

"I wasn't thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks".

"But the main thing for me is that me and Neil are absolutely fine that's what matters to me the most".

Seann Walsh's ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries has been inundated with support over the break-up.

Rebecca Humphries has announced that she has dumped her comedian boyfriend after his "hurtful" affair.

However, Seann has now taken the opportunity to tell his side of the story - claiming he hasn't been portrayed accurately and that his relationship with Rebecca "wasn't perfect".

'It's important also to recognise that in these situations those who hold power over you are insecure and fragile, and their need for control comes from a place of vulnerability, ' she said, 'I think it certainly does in Sean's case.

"I am not flawless, far from it. That doesn't mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did, and I'm very sorry for that".

Seann and Katya will dance the Charleston on Saturday night's Strictly.

"I feel it's also important for me to say that the people that know me the most, that love me, they know that I am not the person I'm being portrayed as".

Speculation has mounted that the pair may quit the series before Saturday night's episode, amid rumours the programme's bosses want them to leave. It's controlling.
