It took 21 seconds for Alabama to score, and it came on Tagovailoa's first pass of the game - throw to Irv Smith Jr. who ran it into the end zone for a 76 yard touchdown.
Arkansas first-year coach Chad Morris, who recruited and coached Deshaun Watson at Clemson, had high praise for Tagovailoa.
Technically though, Tagovailoa still received credit for the touchdown pass, so he opened the game with a ideal completion percentage for two scores. At the same time, I think there's a lot of areas on the team we need to improve. "You're not really competing against the other team, you are competing against yourself". Made a lot of mistakes on defense. We didn't play well as a unit.
Arkansas, though, started to make things a bit interesting.
Arkansas managed an 11-play, 52-yard drive that resulted in a 41-yard Connor Limpert field goal before the Crimson Tide pulled its starters on defense.
The Razorback defense made a big 4th-down stop, the second 4th-down conversion Alabama has attempted and the first the Tide has failed to convert.
It was as close the Hogs were able to get, though. The drive, beginning at the 22-yard line, was set up by a 78-yard punt return from De'Vion Warren.
With some signs of progress being shown since the Razorbacks' last appearance in Fayetteville, the infamous loss to North Texas, Morris believes it's a matter of time before Arkansas can translate that progress into some wins.
Defensively, Saban said the Tide has a lot of work to do to meet the level of play the offensive is playing at. "It's a six-game season, and we're going to focus on us; we're going to focus on what we've been focusing on the last three and a half, four weeks and that's just us getting better".
