Gwyneth Paltrow has shared the first photographs from her wedding to Brad Falchuk, labeling their nuptials as "the best day of our lives".

On her lifestyle website Goop, Paltrow shared 48 images from her big day, including her Iron Man co-star Robert Downey Jr giving a speech, director Steven Spielberg arriving with a video camera in hand, and the bride busting some moves with actor Rob Lowe.

The party started the night before with a rehearsal dinner, held alfresco on wooden tables, set family style, under a canopy of bistro lights.

Paltrow and Falchuk's daughters wore white Monique Lhuillier for the wedding, while Falchuk and his groomsmen wore gray Tom Ford tuxes with black ties.

Gwyneth Paltrow is married fora second time. Guests could choose from honey mustard duckling or prime rib for the main dish with whipped potatoes, vegetable succotash and roasted duck fat potatoes on the side.

The couple tied the knot at Paltrow's home in NY on 29 September in front of a host of celebrity guests, including Robert Downey Jr, Steven Spielberg and Cameron Diaz. After the ceremony and dinner, Gwyneth swapped her stunning Valentino gown for a Stella McCartney dress for dancing.

Indeed, a cynic might say the wedding provides a ideal chance to burnish the rather tarnished Goop brand, which is worth £190million but under fire from regulators for peddling overpriced pseudo-scientific nonsense to the gullible. DailyMailTV was the first to report that Gwyneth wore Valentino for her big day.

But the greatest star seems to be the chef. "Hours later, when the last guest went home and the last champagne flute was cleared away, the day ended as it began - with beauty, love, and very happy people".
