Jose Mourinho in charge of Manchester United, has never lost a Premier League game to a side managed by an English manager.

But after Marcus Rashford's stoppage-time victor, which gave United a 2-1 victory, Jose Mourinho's team now head into a heavyweight week in the Champions League and Premier League on the back of two straight wins.

Callum Wilson had fired Bournemouth ahead in the 11th minute but they were on the back foot after in-form Anthony Martial netted his fifth goal in the last four games in the 35th and Rashford completed the comeback from close range late on.

"I think by the end of December, which is the end of the first half of the Premier League, I think we are not going to be in the position we are now".

"The good thing is that the team has this face of a fantastic character and the heart that any result, the game is not over", he said, per the Guardian.

While Howe was impressed by his side's performance, especially in the first half, he admitted that the result at full time was hard to come to terms with. As a team, we didn't press or do any of the work we did in the week. I feel really frustrated. "I'm trying to find a balance". "We don't know - a muscle problem - and we have to wait a little bit".

Ander Herrera had been particularly influential after being introduced as a substitute for the second half.

United started the second half with much more intensity with Paul Pogba making more forward runs into the opposition defence. How many players at 21 had more game time in a big club, for a big country and the national team?

"We can not give the first 25 minutes away".

"The approach [last season] was much more defensive and with a much more defensive approach you can hide better your weaknesses", Mourinho said.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe insists that is a matter for Southgate but praised his player's contribution. "I think a lot of the aspects of our game were really good, especially during the opening period".

"The discussion at half-time was of course that we weren't winning but deserved to be winning by more than one".

We've had a quick look at why the Reds weren't at the races until they fell behind again and the change that Mourinho must make to ensure it doesn't happen again...
