William and Kate are reportedly believed to be planning to spend Christmas with the Middleton family in the Berkshire countryside instead of with the Queen and Prince Philip in Norfolk.
Speaking to The Sun, when the recent reports of the row were put to a palace spokesperson, they responded with: "This never happened".
Rumours of a royal rift are escalating as it is alleged the Cambridges and the Sussexes will spend Christmas apart this year.
They explained: "The problem is that the Cambridges felt things had moved very quickly between Harry and Meghan".
