William and Kate are reportedly believed to be planning to spend Christmas with the Middleton family in the Berkshire countryside instead of with the Queen and Prince Philip in Norfolk.

Speaking to The Sun, when the recent reports of the row were put to a palace spokesperson, they responded with: "This never happened".

Rumours of a royal rift are escalating as it is alleged the Cambridges and the Sussexes will spend Christmas apart this year.

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, admitted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding was so moving that she was brought to tears.

They explained: "The problem is that the Cambridges felt things had moved very quickly between Harry and Meghan".

Despite the royal drama, Fergie was thrilled to be there on Prince Harry's big day and couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with joy as she thought of how Princess Diana would have reacted to Harry's new wife.

The last time something similar occurred was when Harry and Meghan were first romantically linked and the United Kingdom press had a field day, prompting Kensington Palace to issue a statement defending Meghan on Harry's behalf. "Harry wants to be his own person - not in William's shadow".

"That is unacceptable, they are my staff and I speak to them.' [Kate told Meghan] It is a tricky situation but it was a one off and they're determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they're obviously really different in their approach, ' the insider had dished".

A source told the publication: "Her and Kate fell out when she b******ed Kate's staff".

A close friend of Mr Markle told the Daily Express: "Thomas is of the opinion, 'What's next?" Royal correspondent Richard Palmer has written, "It is clear that Meghan is regarded as hard and demanding by some in the family and on the staff".
