The creators of Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and most recently Pillars of Eternity are getting ready to announce their latest RPG today, with a Game Awards 2018 announcement imminent. Have a look at the trailer below to get a taste of what you can expect from The Outer Worlds. Dubbed The Outer Worlds, the game is an RPG in every sense of the word - there are perks, skill checks, an emphasis on player choice, and several companions to befriend.

Although the game looks similar to the modern entries the tone seems much closer to the original Fallout games, which had a strand of dark humour that Bethesda's games have never really tried to recapture.

Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division revealed their game The Outer Worlds at The Game Awards today with a trailer showing off the new IP.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony.

The Outer Wilds launches on Xbox One, PC and PS4 next year. Exploring the far reaches of space, you'll encounter different factions, all of which are competing for power.
