First teased in December, the Infiniti QX Inspiration concept is a design study vehicle meant to represent the future of the Japanese automaker's design, specifically with regard to high-performance electric vehicles (EVs).
Infiniti has chose to release a singular photo of its QX Inspiration Concept, which will be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show later this month. It will also mark the beginning of new era in terms of design. There are still hints of a grille with metallic trim at the top and bottom that suggest a classic Infiniti grille shape, and the badge and logo float in the middle to further the idea.
Infiniti says its upcoming electric vehicle platform will allow its cars to feature roomy and lounge-like cabins.
Infiniti's parent company is Nissan, which has been long associated with electric because of the more budget-friendly Nissan Leaf.
Infiniti has published the first photo of conceptual crossover QX Inspiration, created to demonstrate the new design direction the Japanese brand. New technology gives the opportunity to evolve INFINITI's design philosophy - and the new vehicle communicates the "serene strength" at our core.
While it's great Infiniti chose to show off the QX in full glory, the details will have to wait until its reveal on the 14th of January. "The concept auto we will show in Detroit is the beginning of a new era for Infiniti, and an illustration of where we want to go with the brand".
