Capcom isn't saying much else right now, although it's at least good to know when the event will be kicking off.
The event was revealed late in 2018, and will be available to fans through a special free update.
Wind's howling. That must mean one thing - Geralt of Rivia is on a new monster hunt, and this time he'll be slashing and dashing his way through Monster Hunter World at last. 26, the hub town, Astera, will be in an anniversary mood that's complete with a new festive Handler and Poogie costume like the previous "Monster Hunter World" seasonal festivals.
The Twitter post showed a gigantic version of the Great Jagras that clearly towers over Elder Dragons at regular height.
Later this year, Monster Hunter: World will also see its first big expansion in Iceborne which will bring with it new monsters, locations and quests ranks, among other features.
Capcom announced that Monster Hunter: World's special collaboration featuring The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Geralt of Rivia will arrive to PS4 and Xbox One on February 8, 2019. That information will come at a later date. Needless to say, we're looking forward to seeing what's in store.
