Scorpion is the golden child who's on the cover of Mortal Kombat 11

Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat and the director of the current game, has shared the MK11's cover art through Twitter.

After a teaser trailer at The Game Awards, WB Games and Netherrealm have unveiled Mortal Kombat 11's cover art.

Ever since the reveal of Mortal Kombat 11, we've been talking about it nonstop. This hints at the new Custom Character System that will "deepen and personalize the player experience by giving them creative control of building customized versions of the character roster". Story-wise, it's assumed that it will continue on with the story that both Mortal Kombat (2011) and Mortal Kombat X have dealt with thus far.

One of the more surprising rumours about the new game sees current WWE Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, linked with a role in the new game. This trailer has led many fans to assume that we'll get some sort of time travel gimmick in Mortal Kombat 11. If you don't aware of the Mortal Kombat series. The fighter will be released on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

In addition to the cover art, we also were made aware of the upcoming reveal event for the title. You can see the full image in Boon's tweet attached at the bottom of the page.
