The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards have come to a close, which means the victor for Best Motion Picture - Drama has been announced.
"Thank you, Lucy Boynton", Malek said according to People. "You have been my ally, my confidant, you are my love", "I appreciate you so much", the actor said.
Starring Rami Malek, Ben Hardy, Mike Myers, Gwilym Lee, Lucy Boynton, Joseph Mazzello, Allen Leech, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Aaron McCusker, and Ace Bhatti, the musical drama was directed by Bryan Singer and tells the biographical tale of Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury.
Rumours of the pair's relationship have been brewing since April 2018.
To get into the role, not only did Malek get himself a set of fake front teeth (telling Vanity Fair that they "took some time getting used to"), he also watched Mercury's 1985 Live Aid Performance over 1,500 times on YouTube to get the scene absolutely spot-on.
