Rumor: Nokia 6.2 with a punch-hole display & Snapdragon 632 coming soon

Nokia 8.1 Plus with hole-in-display design and dual-camera setup leaks

Nokia 8.1 Is Coming To Malaysia This Month for RM 1699

The phone reportedly sports a 6.22-inch display, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB type-C port.

Whether these renders really do give us a legitimate look at next Nokia flagship phone is still speculative at this point, but you can check out the new images in all their glory in the gallery below. OnLeaks, together with 91Mobiles, leaked the handset by sharing renders and a 360-degree video. The front camera is placed under the display, and just enough pixels are punched out to remove any camera obstructions.

2019 is still in its early days, but even so, we're already expecting a lot of phones to ship this year with a hole-punch style notch.

Other new features of Android 9 Pie which will benefit Nokia 8 Sirocco users include App Actions and Digital Wellbeing, brand-new features exclusive to Android One devices and Google Pixel phones. Its lineup remains as confusing and complicated as ever, though, especially when you compare this design to the upcoming Nokia 9.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, the new Nokia 8.1 was first released in China as the Nokia X7 before making its global debut last month.

Apart from the cutout, the Nokia 8.1 Plus will also have a thin chin bezel that will keep the Nokia branding. Although nothing is known about the innards of the phone right now, given the fact that it is tipped to have a physical fingerprint reader and a dual camera setup, it will most likely have mid-tier specifications that we see on the more affordable smartphones with highly improved specifications.
