The movie continued to pull massive audience on second Sunday as well, registering excellent day 10 earning. The movie did not fare well at the box office, following which Pooja had forayed into Tollywood, where she had a rather indifferent beginning with movies like Mukunda, Oka Laila Kosam ending as duds. Two major movies including, Uri and The Accidental Prime Minister are releasing on January 11. Simmba is "ruling" the box office and is expected to collect "bigger" numbers today (Day 10), Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. Also, it is the second best Monday figures of 2018, after Sanju's 25.35 crores. The film stars Sara Ali Khan as well and has a cameo of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.

It is the remake of 2015 released Telugu blockbuster "Temper".

Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar, the movie is a solid, well-packaged entertainer with a powerful message.
